food industry kingdom in Indonesia and even may lead to go
internationally. So, in 2001 he and in his brothers started open the
first steak house in Surabaya, East Java named " The Prime Steak and
Ribs " located at Jl. Manyar Kertoarjo 66, east Surabaya on the
600sqm of land. Then in, 2006 knowing the demand from our customer
in the west Surabaya, we opened our second branch named " The Prime
steak and Bistro " on the 1000sqm of land, located at HR. Mohammad.
As a result, now The Prime had received several recognitions and
awards from some reputed institution such as University of Petra,

managers must coordinate a variety of activities. Managers are
responsible for the business performance of their restaurant, as
well as maintaining high standards of food, service and health and
safety.
Restaurant management combines strategic planning, shift pattern
organisation and day-to-day management activities. Depending on the
nature of the outlet, the role may have creative aspects,
particularly in marketing and business development.
As a key role within the hospitality sector, restaurant management
may be fast-paced, highly demanding and very rewarding.
taking responsibility for the business performance of the
restaurant;
analysing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability;
organising marketing activities, such as promotional events and
discount schemes;
preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff
control, food control and sales;
creating and executing plans for department sales, profit and staff
development;
setting budgets and/or agreeing them with senior management;

Dear Members and Colleagues
We are please to announce that we have had new committee for our Association of Culinary Professional period of 2008-2010 in our Members meeting at Sari Pan Pacific on January 31st, 2008.
We will continue to become an association to gather all culinary professionals in Indonesia to develop Indonesian cuisine in it’s own country and promote it internationally and continue to develop and prepared our Young Chef, the next generation of our culinary world in their profession.
We would like to give our appreciation to the previous committee for all their dedication and hard work, for their program and contribution not only to the Association but also to our society and surroundings.
We hope to see you all in our next meeting in March where we will start creating an agenda and up coming program for all members and colleagues.
